Using the latest in lighting design software, including AGI32 and the Lighting Reality software package, our experienced and qualified lighting designers are able to provide all that is required, from a simple calculation plot to full, complex 3D visualisations of how the selected lighting will illuminate the building or plot in question.

Kingfisher has developed an excellent reputation amongst the lighting industry, as a result of its lighting knowledge and through having a complete passion in lighting design as a whole.

We are able to produce lighting designs from either paper drawings or preferably via email in an AutoCAD format. From this, we can produce a full 2d lighting plan showing a comprehensive layout that is broken down into separate areas for analysis, detailing fitting types and lux values.

The standard in-house software is a powerful lighting design program called AGI32, which Kingfisher has used for over eight years. For smaller sized projects and road lighting, Kingfisher Lighting also use Lighting Reality, which comes with the Kingfisher photometrics pre-installed.

Our external engineers, who all hold their LIF qualifications in advanced lighting design, are fully equipped to produce designs on a smaller scale, also using lighting Reality.

On request, full 3D rendered projects can be produced providing an accurate picture of how the scheme will look, which can be provided either as separate images or as a short movie.
